Location: Hsinchu Uncle Beef Soup Specialty Shop
Travel note summary: Previously, on another food board 'Food' on Wretch, I saw the board moderator yjlou recommend a shop. So, taking advantage of yesterday after work, I suddenly remembered and wandered over to the Longshan Community area. This shop is located just off Science Park Road, and you can see it on the left not far in. Honestly, it seems like any shop that opens here ends up closing. Over the past two years, it's gone from an old-fashioned noodle shop => Longshan Delicacies => Poppy Butterfly, and now it's become this Uncle Beef Soup Specialty Shop. Struggling to stay in business seems to be the norm here. Following the same pattern, business here is also quite slow. When I entered around 6 PM, I was the only customer. I'm not sure if it's only for the opening period, but ordering a bowl of beef soup comes with a plate of blanched vegetables. So, I spent NT$80 for a small bowl of beef soup, which came with white rice and blanched vegetables. Personally, I think the price is quite reasonable for what you get.
