Travel note summary: Hsinchu City---Free Style Cafe Written on 2004/9/10 ------------------------------------- At noon, Wenzheng was originally going to take us to a place called something like 'Ten-Minute Break,' but we saw a red 'For Rent' sign on the door; it seemed closed. So we continued walking along Dongguang Road. Not long after, we spotted another small shop by the roadside that looked pretty good. The shop name is Free Style Cafe. The overall decor uses a lot of blue and white, creating a relaxed and leisurely atmosphere. I forgot how long it's been since I ate at a set meal restaurant, but when I sat down and flipped through the menu, that familiar feeling quickly came back :P. The lunch offerings aren't too many, just five or six items, but the afternoon tea snacks and drinks are quite plentiful. The most expensive business lunch is eel rice at NT$260, the cheapest around NT$150. I ordered the German pork knuckle to try. Maybe because there were quite a few customers in the shop that day, the pork knuckle I ordered with Wenzheng took a long time to arrive.
