Location: Hangzhou, Hu Xueyan's Former Residence
Travel notes summary: I went out for a walk in the afternoon to see some historic sites in Hangzhou, from the former residence of the late Qing dynasty's richest man to the palace gardens of the Southern Song capital, Lin'an. In the evening, I went to the high-altitude bar on the 52nd floor of the Raffles City mall, enjoying the night view of the Qiantang River while eating Gillardeau oysters, paired with a Bordeaux Right Bank red wine and a Cuban cigar. It was an unforgettable life experience and a fleeting moment of luxury. The per-person cost here was around ten thousand Taiwanese dollars. This was also the 11th gathering on my 8th day in Hangzhou—time to head back to Taiwan. Thanks to my buddy Andrew for the warm hospitality throughout this trip. Cheers! :) By Morgan @evening of July 31, 2025
