In the evening, took a ferry for a night cruise on the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. Compared to cruising on Victoria Harbour, the Huangpu River, or the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, sailing on this canal, which held the lifeline of ancient water transport, evokes a sense of nostalgia and offers a different kind of charm...
