Travel notes: It's been over three years since I last saw NCKU senior Masa (Ethan). Our last meeting remains a memory of drinking red wine at his place in Shenzhen. Since he rarely returns to Taiwan, I took the train to Zhongli at noon today to have lunch and drinks with him and his wife, Jinzhen. We started with seafood dishes followed by US Prime steak, so naturally, we paired them with a glass of Blanc white wine and a Pinot Noir red. Chatting with senior about the state of China's tech industry in recent years and with his wife about her recent amusing experiences learning golf, time flew by until the restaurant was about to close at 3:30 PM.
