Location: Taoyuan, Bolan Cottage - Scottish Alice Coffee
Travel note summary: On a rainy day, Brother Mu specially came to Taipei to pick me up and took me to Bade, Taoyuan, to eat at this truly hidden gem of a shop. Because the owner is passionate about coffee, the coffee here comes with unlimited refills. Scottish Alice Coffee is served with a cube of sugar placed on a silver spoon over hot coffee, then Scotch whisky is poured over it and lit on fire before serving. It's really a shop run out of passion. The floor in the restroom even has a view of a large fish pond below, which is very interesting and impressive. By Morgan @2011.1.14
