Travel note summary: Tonight, Manager Liang treated a new colleague and his wife to dinner—they're old friends of his from way back. I just tagged along to make up a table of four. The dinner buffet costs over 2,000 TWD per person; every time I come, I feel like my small appetite is such a waste. So I ended up loading up on desserts to at least get some extra calories. As usual, besides a glass of red wine, we opened a whole bottle of Australian red to get through the night. The weather was great today, so the view overlooking Shenzhen was crystal clear.
