Location: Shenzhen, Bafangke Shantou Beef Hotpot
Travel note: Spent almost the whole day in a financial building in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, meeting with several chairmen of private equity funds and one chairman who is queuing up to apply for a public fund. At noon, they treated me to a nice Cantonese restaurant. Later, my laptop suddenly wouldn't turn on. In the evening, I hurriedly had Shantou beef hotpot, which I hadn't eaten in a long time, and drank a bottle of Nan'ao red wine—without any 'girls'—before rushing back to Hong Kong via the Futian Port.
