Travel note: Dinner at 1881 Chinese restaurant in the Grand Hyatt, Shenzhen. My university classmates Jiahong and Ahou came to pick up a full set of English storybooks for their daughter, and we all ate here together. The roast duck here is famously good—requires advance reservation, roasted in an oven for 75 minutes, leaving a lingering delicious taste. We ended up opening two nice Australian red wines. Thanks to Brother Jiahong for treating us! After getting home, half-drunk and half-awake, I turned on the computer and continued with a Skype conference call with Eastern Europe, which has a 5-hour time difference.
