Travel note summary: Grand Hyatt Shenzhen, 38F Penthouse Bar + 37F Belle Vue French Cuisine. Boss Liang stayed in Shenzhen this weekend instead of returning to Taiwan, so he invited me to hang out at MixC in the afternoon. He first bought a 9,000 RMB spring down jacket at Moncler, then we killed time watching Jupiter Ascending. After the movie, we went to the top floor of the nearby Grand Hyatt in the evening. We opened a bottle of French Burgundy red wine and ordered some cold cuts and cheese. At night, we went downstairs to the French restaurant for oysters, salmon, lobster, and Angus steak, along with another bottle of Chilean red wine (Lapostolle) and two extra glasses of champagne. It really was a day of eating, drinking, shopping, and watching movies—almost completely zoning out. @@ Back at my place, I got a call from Senior Youbin. He, Brother Quanhao, and Sister Caijia came to Shenzhen to visit factories and discuss an agency deal. They were supposed to drop by later, but they got too caught up and were kept late by an old chairman, so we'll have to catch up next time. :) By Morgan, evening of March 14, 2015
