Travel note: The 6th China Quantitative Investment International Summit lasts three days; today is the second day, held at the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It's been a while since I attended a finance industry seminar. This time, the theme basically revolves around how Big Data is applied in finance. However, except for the last speaker who once taught at the University of Chicago in the U.S., the other speakers didn't seem to cover many key points. I hope tomorrow's agenda brings more insights. Instead, today I saw Guotai'an, a company I dealt with a few years ago. They are now collaborating with the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Shenzhen to establish a financial big data research center here. Recalling many memories from the past, things have really changed.
