Travel note: Ate a lot of dumplings for lunch to celebrate the winter solstice (here in the north, they eat dumplings for the solstice, while in the south it's tangyuan; the auntie who cooks daily is from the north). For dinner, tried this famous restaurant from Hangzhou—business is booming, with 20–30 groups waiting at peak hours.
