Travel note summary: My old comrade from Shanghai days, Sean, is about to switch to a fairly large public fund in China to launch his own planned products and serve as a fund manager. So today, he and his wife flew from Shanghai to Shenzhen to look for a place to live. They searched in Futian District all day but didn't have much luck, so I invited them to check out Luohu District in the evening. We toured the serviced apartment I'm currently staying in for reference. After viewing two vacant units, we went to eat at KKMall downstairs. Haven't seen Sean in ages—last time was last April when I went down to Shanghai from Beijing. Who would've thought we'd be so fated? From Shanghai in 2010 to Shenzhen in 2015, after many years, we'll be hustling in the same city again.
