Travel note summary: In Lviv City, Ukraine. Took advantage of the weekend to hop on a train and wander around casually. This is already my fourth visit this year, so nothing feels unfamiliar. While walking on the street, I suddenly ran into a couple who struck up a conversation with me. They said they've been learning Chinese here for three years but haven't had many chances to practice. Since it's rare to encounter an East Asian face here, they asked where I'm from, if I'm a student, and chatted with me for a while. Honestly, their Chinese was pretty decent, and with English, there were basically no communication barriers. The guy even gave himself a Chinese name, Stephen.
