Location: Chongqing - Wulong Furong Cave + City Center: Liberation Monument, Chongqing Noodles, Night View, Eighteen Steps. Furong Cave is a stalactite cave (karst cave) that requires a cable car ride to reach, offering a view overlooking the Furong River. Although it's not as vast or numerous as the caves in Guilin, some formations are quite eye-catching. Back in Chongqing city center, I said goodbye to a couple from Beijing who were Indian exchange students. On this trip to Wulong, they happened to sit next to me again, so I helped translate for them throughout the journey. After getting off, I walked from the distinctive Hongya Cave all the way to the hotel to check in. Later, I strolled around the bustling Liberation Monument pedestrian street and had some Chongqing noodles—I like the thin noodles.
