Location: Chongqing, Wan'er Bei Brother (Wanzhou Bei Erge), Sichuan-Chongqing Jianghu Cuisine
Travel Notes: My colleague Cinderella, a Chongqing local, and her father treated me to an authentic local restaurant for lunch. We were joined by one of their friends and his family of three, making it five adults and one child in total. Jianghu cuisine is somewhat similar to Shanghai's Benbang cuisine. We had spicy taro chicken and steamed lamb with rice flour, both of which tasted quite good. After the meal, Cinderella's father drove us to Jiangbei Airport to catch our flight. Thanks for the hospitality! I truly felt the warmth of Chongqing people. :) By Morgan on Oct 9, 2016
