Travel note: Taiwan is really small. At this Multicharts gathering, about 80–90 people showed up. Shortly after I sat down, two people happened to sit right in front of me. One of them looked very familiar, but I just couldn't remember who he was. Afraid of mistaking him, I waited until the event ended before boldly asking if I knew him. Turns out he was a former colleague from my previous company—he worked in the index department across the way, so we didn't interact much. I'm embarrassed I couldn't recall him, but after chatting a bit, it came back to me. He remembered me too. What a coincidence that out of all the seats, he chose the one right in front of me, allowing us to catch up in the end. @@
