Travel Notes: In the afternoon, I went to Yunlin with two juniors from Le Si Ji to look at some land and construction projects. By chance, we ended up at the home of Yunlin legislator Brother Lin Wenrui, chatting over tea and coffee. Also present were Nancy, Aaron, Angela, Yan'an, and Chairman Zhang from Good Family Towels. We listened to Chairman Yang, who owns a vast amount of land near the Yunlin HSR station, share insights on the current situation and future prospects of Yunlin's real estate industry. For dinner, we were joined by Sister Kuma, Lawyer Cai (whose father is Vice Minister of Justice Cai Bizhong), and senior architect Su Jieming from the NCKU Class of '91 and his wife. The senior brought a bottle of Dom Pérignon champagne worth about ten thousand. As glasses clinked, we chatted more. Yan'an is the second-generation successor of Dawei Construction in Taipei, and Angela returned to Taiwan from Silicon Valley.
