Travel note: Apple Sister, a friend of Xiaoping's, whom I haven't seen since we parted in Keelung 16 years ago: https://morgan0321.org/48魚路古道‧金山‧基隆嶼‧基隆廟口一日遊/. Apple Sister now works at Taichung's Ching Chuan Kang Airport. The three of us arranged to go out for a walk today, so we came to the Caoling Scenic Area, which I visited with my university family, seniors, and juniors 15 years ago: https://morgan0321.org/62草嶺兩天一夜遊/. (Time really flies—now any memory jumps back over a decade :~) We also passed by the Tongtou Suspension Bridge in Zhushan on the way, saw attractions like Cliff Hero and Stone Wall Fairy Valley in Caoling, and had lunch at a mountain restaurant with tea oil chicken.
