Travel note summary: My senior from the ramen shop days is invited to give a speech in Shenzhen tomorrow. He passed through Hong Kong today, so we had dinner together tonight. Also joining us was Ben, whom I met over three years ago at Maker Week, along with one of his female colleagues. The restaurant we chose had previously earned two Michelin stars. My senior and Jserv's startup, BiiLabs, is also growing steadily—you can see their presence in EU GDPR projects, UN initiatives, Chinese system integrators, and even Taipei's smart city MOU signing in the Netherlands. My senior is also flying to LINE's headquarters in Tokyo the day after tomorrow for a meeting. I can tell he's incredibly busy but truly enjoys it. That's the joy of entrepreneurship—finding laughter through tears and a sense of achievement amidst the hardships. Ben, aside from his IT company, has now ventured into a tech PR firm. Over dinner, we discussed many applications of blockchain for solving KYC issues, which was a great learning experience for me. Finally, thanks to Ben for treating us to this wonderful dinner.
