Travel note summary: Hong Kong, Sheung Wan, Bowl House Japanese buffet. Tonight I attended a gathering of all Taiwanese people. It was hosted by Gordon, the new Taiwanese CEO of Rui Feng De Yong. Everyone there works in Hong Kong's finance sector—from Citi Global Markets, ICBC International, to Capital Securities Hong Kong... nearly 50 people in total. Thanks to big bro Gordon for picking up the tab! This was also a chance to catch up with old colleagues from Yuanta Securities, like William, Sam, and James. But with so many people today, we couldn't really chat properly, so a few of us planned to meet again for lunch on Saturday. Thinking back to when we first met, over seven years have passed already.
