Location: Hong Kong, Tap Mun Island
Travel Notes: Last time during a gathering, Ben mentioned that there's also a pier near University Station that goes to other smaller islands in Hong Kong. So today, I came to this Ma Liu Shui Pier and took a boat to Tap Mun Island, one of Hong Kong's 263 islands. The island isn't big; it only takes a little over an hour to walk around. Although there are some tourists camping or visiting, the overall number isn't high. Compared to other well-known islands like Cheung Chau or Lamma Island, which are bustling with tourists, this place is still a very tranquil corner~ After walking until tired, I sat in a pavilion overlooking the sea, just gazing at Nan'ao and Dapeng in Shenzhen, which I visited last week. Drinking refreshing sugarcane juice and letting the comfortable sea breeze blow by, it felt like time stood still in peace...
