Travel Notes: Hong Kong Mong Kok, an apartment. Last night, with CEO Liang and a Fund Manager from Singapore in the company, we went to the bar on top of Kingkey 100 for red wine and snacks. Tonight, it's whiskey instead, but with old colleagues at Boss Brian's Hong Kong apartment, drinking and having hot pot. Besides William, I also met James, whom I hadn't seen in a long time. Sister-in-law prepared a lavish meal for all of us. Listening to everyone talk about the recent situation in Hong Kong's financial circle, whether from an investment banking perspective or from Chinese/foreign fund managers' angles, I gained a lot. It felt like going back to the old days fighting alongside many old comrades. A wonderful night, just as Boss Brian once said: colleagues may be temporary, but the bonds between people can last a lifetime. :) Also, thanks to Brother William for putting me up for the night. ^^ By Morgan on the evening of Jan 10, 2015
