Location: Hong Kong, Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car
Travel Notes: Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car, Tian Tan Buddha, Tai O Fishing Village. Took a high-speed ferry from Macau to Hong Kong's Sheung Wan Pier (about 1 hour). Then walked via the pedestrian bridge through IFC to Hong Kong MTR Station, took the Tung Chung Line to the terminal station—Tung Chung. Exited and transferred to the cable car up to Ngong Ping (Crystal Cabin HKD 180). After walking up the steps, viewed the 34-meter-high Tian Tan Buddha. Then took Bus 21 from Ngong Ping summit to Tai O (15 min). Actually walked through this place I'd only seen in Hong Kong films (e.g., 'Legend of the Dragon')—narrow old streets, ate seafood, tofu pudding. Walked to the highest point of Tiger Hill, overlooking the entire Tai O scenery. Finally, from Tai O, took Bus 11 (queued for nearly an hour) back to the basement of Citygate Outlets next to Tung Chung Station. Transferred to a minibus to Huanggang Port, crossed the border back to Shenzhen, ending two rich days of Hong Kong-Macau travel~ By Morgan on March 27, 2016.
