Travel note: Tasty Congee & Noodle Shop in Sha Tin, Hong Kong. Tonight, I had dinner with William, an old colleague from Yuanta who has been working in Hong Kong's finance industry for six years. We couldn't meet last week in Hong Kong, nor earlier this week in Taiwan, but thankfully, we finally managed to meet today. I chatted with William for a long time, listening to him share many difficulties in his life and family this year. Some parts resonated with my own past experiences, so I nodded in agreement. For the rest, only time can slowly heal. Near the end, I took out a hanging ornament I bought in Istanbul from my backpack and gave it to William, hoping that at this year-end and New Year transition, my old friend can turn his fortunes around and move forward smoothly!
