Travel Notes: Hong Kong Lai Chi Kok, Little Break English breakfast. Last time I visited Brother William, I posted on FB about Lai Chi Kok. An old university CCNS club friend, Youjing, whom I hadn't contacted in twelve years, saw it and messaged me saying, 'What, I live in Lai Chi Kok! Next time you come, remember to find me~~' So this time in Hong Kong, I didn't forget and arranged breakfast with her. Luckily, we managed to meet even with a last-minute plan. Youjing's husband is Hong Kongese, so she settled here after marriage and already has a very cute baby. Her husband is also in finance (Barclays), so we discussed the recent news of Standard Chartered's big layoffs in Hong Kong. Chatted about this and that, and the morning flew by. Thanks to Youjing and her family for hosting today, but the most important thing was seeing an old friend after so many years. Time, life—who knows how much has passed in a blink.
