Location: Kaohsiung - Jiangzhe Seafood Cuisine (Yellow Crane Tower Restaurant)
Travel Notes: I suddenly felt like going to Kaohsiung for a meal with friends. Originally, I wanted to try the Brasserie at Kaohsiung Grand Hotel (now renamed King's Town) to compare it with the one in Taichung, but we arrived too late. A friend who often visits Kaohsiung took us to this famous restaurant. Besides banquets, they offer an all-you-can-eat option: NT$350 for lunch, NT$400 for dinner, plus 10% service charge. That night, we ordered 15 dishes, including shrimp balls, beef on sizzling plate, honey-glazed ham, and more. The food was quite refined for the price, though some staff were a bit rushed due to the busy crowd. Overall, it's a great Taiwanese-style buffet restaurant with a long history and quality that surpasses many similar places in Tainan. If you have a big appetite, it's worth a visit! :) By Morgan, evening of April 21, 2004.
