Over the past few weeks, I've been to many places in Hong Kong, from Yuen Long and Tuen Mun in the west to Ma On Shan and Sai Kung in the east, down to Tsim Sha Tsui and Stanley in the south, and up to Sha Tin and Shenzhen in the north. The Sai Kung Geopark is UNESCO-certified and spread out over a wide area. One route leads to the East Dam of the High Island Reservoir. You can buy a special bus ticket at the Volcano Discovery Centre next to the Sai Kung bus stop. The whole journey takes 30 minutes. After winding along a mountain road, we arrived. Getting off the bus and walking a short distance, the wind and rain suddenly picked up. Walking on the dam in the storm, my umbrella turned inside out and my hat almost blew away. Looking at the sea with its huge waves, I wondered if I'd be blown away too. I could only hurry to the nearest pavilion to take shelter. After waiting a while, the wind and rain gradually subsided.
