Taking the same bus back to Tai Wo Station, I transferred one MTR stop to Fanling Station, where the Lung Yeuk Tau Heritage Trail begins. The trail passes several historic buildings. Having visited the Ping Shan Heritage Trail in Yuen Long before, Lung Yeuk Tau felt different—along the way were a renovated but abandoned church, the overgrown and eerie Stone Hall, and an old walled village still inhabited by residents.
