Travel note summary: Morgan's Hong Kong Life Notes 24 - Ma Wan Noah's Ark & Cheung Chau Island. Noah's Ark is a theme park located right next to the Tsing Ma Bridge. I took bus 249X from Sha Tin and arrived at Tsing Yi Station after 40 minutes, then transferred to bus 330 and got off at Noah's Ark Station in Ma Wan. After buying tickets at the front desk, I entered. Inside the replica ark is a museum exhibition showcasing lots of scientific and animal knowledge, with some videos about the Earth or floods playing at set times. After leaving Noah's Ark, right next to it is Park Island Ferry Pier. After tapping my Octopus card, I could directly take a ferry to Central Pier. Returning to Central Pier No. 2, I saw it was still early, so I simply walked to Pier No. 5 and casually hopped on a ferry to Cheung Chau. Cheung Chau is more famous for being the hiding place of the 18th-century Guangdong coastal pirate king Cheung Po Tsai, with a mysterious cave.
