Location: Morgan's Hong Kong Life Notes 26 - Ping Shan Heritage Trail in Yuen Long & Gold Coast in Tuen Mun
Travel notes summary: This area of Ping Shan was settled during the Qing dynasty by a patriarch surnamed Tang who came from Jiangxi to cultivate the land and establish a family. So, the ancient buildings left by the Tang family are now blended with some newer structures. At the highest point on the hill, there's the Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery, converted from the old Ping Shan Police Station, housing many artifacts collected by the Tang family, including those from a scholar the family once produced. Leaving Yuen Long and taking the West Rail Line to its final stop, Tuen Mun, which is relatively west in the New Territories, I transferred to the K51 bus to reach Gold Coast, one of Tuen Mun's famous attractions. There's also a BBQ area nearby for grilling. After walking around this afternoon, I've definitely gotten enough exercise for today! By Morgan @2018.7.1 Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda
