Travel note summary: Morgan's Hong Kong Life Notes 6 - Tap Mun Island. Last time during a gathering, Ben mentioned there's also a pier near University Station that goes to some of Hong Kong's smaller islands. So today, I came to this Ma Liu Shui Pier and took a ferry to Tap Mun Island, one of Hong Kong's 263 islands. The island isn't big; walking around it only takes a little over an hour. Although there are some tourists here camping or visiting, the overall number isn't high. Compared to other famous islands like Cheung Chau or Lamma Island, which are bustling with tourists, this place is still a very tranquil corner. Tired from walking, I sat in a pavilion overlooking the sea, gazing at the Nan'ao and Dapeng bays in Shenzhen, which I just visited last week.
