Location: Morgan's Hong Kong Life Notes 7 - Lamma Island & Ocean Park Night Show 'Symbio!'
Travel note summary: Morgan's Hong Kong Life Notes 7 - Lamma Island & Ocean Park Night Show 'Symbio!'. Counting up, I've visited over a dozen islands around the world, big and small. Today, I visited one of Hong Kong's famous outlying islands, Lamma Island. From Central Pier No. 4, just tap your Octopus card, beep, and you can board the ferry. The journey takes about half an hour, and we arrived quickly. Walking from Yung Shue Wan Pier to Sok Kwu Wan Pier on the other side took about an hour and a half, going over hills and small ridges, working up quite a sweat. Today's exercise quota should be sufficient. For the return trip, instead of going back to Central, I came to Aberdeen Pier on Hong Kong Island. Walking about half an hour from the disembarkation point, I happened to be right at Ocean Park. So I went in to see the spectacular water and fireworks show 'Symbio!' at the Waterfront Plaza's artificial lake, adding a magical finale to today's itinerary. Life is fleeting; we can only strive to live in the present. :P By Morgan on the evening of 2018.5.26
