Travel note summary: Morgan's Hong Kong Life Notes 8 - Wetland Park (Hong Kong Wetland Park). Having been in Hong Kong for two years, I've pretty much visited all the major hot spots and museums on Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories. So I can only look for those less-visited, niche attractions to explore. The Wetland Park is located in the northwest corner of Hong Kong, above Yuen Long (with a map for reference). Starting from Sha Tin Station, I needed to transfer buses twice to get there. On this rainy afternoon, strolling here with an umbrella, in this exceptionally quiet park with very few visitors, the natural scents of various plants wafted by, and watching all kinds of creatures coexisting in this space made it a very fresh and comfortable place. Besides observing the outdoor ecology, there's also a nice exhibition hall that's both educational and entertaining, making it a place very worth visiting.
