Travel note summary: After sleeping at Istanbul Airport last night, I arrived in Romania today. Since it was another last-minute trip, I didn't do much research. I ended up spending $500 to hire a private car with a driver/guide for ten hours to tour Romania. I felt the eerie atmosphere at Dracula's Castle and enjoyed the European town scenery in Brașov's square. Surprisingly, I got along well with the guide all day. After the ten hours, he even took me back to the old town of Bucharest, treated me to dinner, and showed me the bar street—one bar is run by the Japanese yakuza, and it gets pretty lively at night. Finally, I tried Arabic shisha (hookah) with a hint of mint and lemon flavor, leaving beautiful memories of this Romania trip. By Morgan on the evening of 2017.8.12
