Location: Silverlight stock quote website trial. Last week, I focused on converting several divergence indicators to Multicharts. With more free time this week, I spent a few days writing a simple conversion program to transfer 8-13 years of Excel historical daily data for Greater China stock markets (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan) and some fund markets into my own database. I also set up a scheduled program to automatically update these post-market daily data into the database in the future. Then, using Microsoft's Silverlight technology, I webified these data and uploaded the main page to Amazon's cloud server. Finally, I temporarily completed a prototype that allows online market data queries. I've been thinking about this for almost a year, but actually starting it took a full year = =a. Fortunately, it didn't take too much time to build in the end. But it's just a beginning. Next, I need to integrate global commodities, including forex data sources, and think about how to add value on this platform to make it more workable. Anyway, keep going~~
