Travel notes summary: When I was working in Hsinchu from 2004 to 2008, I was passionate about blogging on Wretch and met a group of like-minded blogger friends. We often enjoyed food and traveled together. After all these years, everyone has gone their separate ways, and it's rare to have a chance to meet again. Last week, one of them, Mao's Dad, contacted me because he needed to submit an assignment on using AI to predict stock prices for his AI school. I gave some basic advice, and we chatted about how long it had been. Since we're both in Taichung now, why not meet up? That's how we ended up having this morning tea today. Mao's Dad moved to Feng Chia University as an associate professor from Taipei and has settled in Taichung for many years, just like Mao's Mom, both loving this city. It's been over 9 years since we last met. Life brings reunions after years apart, and it's truly nostalgic and precious. Thanks to the Mao family for treating me to this delicious dim sum.
