Travel note summary: Since my old racket is in Hong Kong, I've been borrowing one every Wednesday night when playing badminton in the East District. Yesterday, I finally bought a new racket from a Taichung seller on Shopee and went to their physical store. Coincidentally, my long-uncontacted friend Gong suddenly messaged me, and after chatting, he mentioned he regularly plays badminton on Friday nights and asked if I wanted to join. So today I came to the hall in Nantun to try out my new racket. Chuan Yu is one of Taichung's newer and better-equipped halls, but the skill level here is high. From 8 to 11 PM, I played with many different pairs, but I was mostly outmatched all night, only narrowly winning against two girls in the last match. Sob :~ By Morgan @2020.4.3 evening
