Location: Taichung, Dadun 14th Street, Mu'an Japanese Yakitori Izakaya
Travel Notes: Last night, Alex came down from Taipei to see me. He brought two bottles of white wine, one red, and a bottle of daiginjo sake, thoughtfully packed with ice to keep them cool. I also invited a few friends who enjoy drinking—Gong, Qibin, and Shengyan—to join us. We gathered over drinks. Our first stop was this izakaya tucked away in the alleys of the 7th Redevelopment Zone. For the second round, we headed to a newly opened bar in the upscale 7th Zone: Chill Play. A few middle-aged guys, hoping to keep a youthful spirit, found ourselves surrounded by a crowd of twenty-somethings in the bar. We casually chatted over Swedish beer. Life is unpredictable, so live in the moment. Being able to get together is a blessing. Cheers! By Morgan @2020.9.20
