Travel notes summary: My weekly Taiwan nostalgia trip with classmate Xiao Ping continues. The last time I came to Dasyueshan was 16 years ago when I rode up the mountain with my younger brother: https://morgan0321.org/51豐原懷舊‧大雪山山腰一日遊/ I still remember that after returning to downtown Taichung that day, I had a meal with two other university classmates, Junying and Yalan, and visited Junying's new home. Time really flies. Fast forward to today, sixteen years later, Dasyueshan is known for hosting many wild birds, so you can see many bird-loving photographers coming here to shoot. After leaving Dasyueshan, we returned to Dongshi to eat fresh shrimp wontons, then circled back to downtown Taichung via Xinshe and Taiping. Seeing there's still enough time, I'll quickly jot this down; I should make it in time for the badminton game at 8 PM tonight. :P By Morgan @2020.5.15
