In the evening, I had dinner with Cindy, founder of the Richwell Financial Group; Nancy, founder of the Silicon Valley tech real estate agency Funwoo; Senior Guozhi from the NCKU Aeronautics class of '82; and Junior Ruqi from the NCKU Accounting class of '92. Ruqi founded her own companies, Yousi Consulting & Ziwen Creative Design, and has already assisted over 600 SMEs in applying for government subsidies or transformation/upgrading. Besides NCKU, Senior Guozhi is also my double senior from Taichung First Senior High School. The senior is very knowledgeable about fine food, wine, and tea. Besides teaching at school, he also holds an international sommelier license and previously won a wine blind tasting championship. Tonight, he demonstrated his strong professional skills. While eating, I thought maybe we should pair it with red wine after all.
