Travel note summary: Had lunch here with senior Zhihao at Daiyo Conveyor Belt Sushi on Wenxin South 2nd Road in Taichung. The last time I ate at the Daiyo Gongyi branch was already 12 years ago. On weekday afternoons, there are no sushi plates running on the conveyor belt, so you have to order everything individually. If you order generously, the per-person cost is around 800-something NTD, which isn't too different from regular Japanese restaurants. The freshness of the raw fish isn't bad though. Thanks to my senior for treating me. After the meal, we went to that same generous unnamed tofu pudding shop from last time and queued up for takeout.
