Travel note summary: Long time no see—my old colleague Joe came back to Taichung from Taipei and invited me to dinner. After leaving his fund manager position, Joe sold his property in Shenzhen worth billions of NTD last year and moved the money back to Taiwan. He's also currently selling his Hong Kong asset management license (Type 9). In Taiwan, he's starting to plan for a more distant future and retirement. Joe and I chatted about our past travel memories to Tai O in Hong Kong, updates on many old colleagues, and his upcoming PhD from Xiamen University. Time flew by, and it was already closing time. Thanks to Joe for treating me—later, I found out our homes in Taichung are actually close, one at the start of Yongxing Street and the other at the end.
