It's well known that Ethan Yang has invested in many restaurants—besides Macau Ying Dao Zu, there's Le Xue Wagyu, Kazama Yakiniku, FOND Korean Tofu Stew, Riben Korean BBQ... too many to list. Today he came to Taichung for a shareholders' meeting and took the chance to invite Alex Yu-Ting Hong (had to use his full name since Alex is so common, haha) along with the team from the investment blog 'Le Si Ji,' Steven and Louis, to get to know each other at one of his restaurants. Thanks to Yang for including me, a local Taichung person! Taiwan really is small—turns out Steven is also from Fengyuan, and he's a double junior alumnus from Taichung First Senior High School and NCKU Computer Science Class of 105. Later we found out he was even middle school classmates with my cousin, and Louis knows my old Wretch Blog friend, Mao Ma. So we all hit it off quickly.
