Travel Notes: Before returning to Hsinchu, my family and I tried Ruoliuyijin, a famous udon spot recommended by a friend. Located on Dazhong South Street, the menu only offers udon—we ordered all five types: Five Ingredients, Hot Pot Style, Beef, Seafood, and Kimchi Tripe Udon, plus some side dishes. The udon had a nice chew, and the broth was pure white, supposedly simmered for three days. However, I didn't find the broth as flavorful as expected, even after trying different bowls. My family wasn't overly impressed either. While it's a well-known place, our experience fell a bit short of the hype, but I'll share my honest thoughts for reference.
