Travel notes: In Taipei's Xinyi District, Afternoon Delight, and Zhongshan District's THE FLOW (soft opening). In the evening, Miss T spontaneously invited me for drinks at a bar near her place on Roosevelt Road. After each of us had five drinks, we moved to THE FLOW in Zhongshan District, a new bar opened by T's cousin and her husband from Draft Land. Rosa used to be an executive at Uber Taiwan and now works at a startup called Surprise Lab, which creates unique sensory experiences like Dining in the Dark and the Venice Film Festival VR Paris Ball. Howard is an English-teaching YouTuber with 150k subscribers (How's World). Taiwan is small—they also know Benson from the local crypto circle and Sean from Binance.
