Location: Taipei, Revisiting Curry Champ
Travel note summary: A university classmate of Morgan's, also from Macau, Funky, was visiting Taiwan and wanted to get everyone together for a meal. So, I helped contact some classmates working in Taipei, and with everyone reaching out to each other, finally, that night's gathering included Funky, Funky's wife, two of Funky's Macau friends, Jiaju, Jiajun, Minling, Xinru & husband & unborn baby, Minghong & wife, Afu, Zhihong, Hansheng & girlfriend, Rongjin, plus Morgan—17 people in total. Curry Champ is part of the Shin Yeh restaurant group. For me, it's also a nostalgic place. Because seven years ago, when I was still studying for my master's at National Cheng Kung University, Zhihong and I helped Egg, the senior from Tainan's biggest food website—Da Chushi (http://www.chef.com.tw)—develop a touch-screen dining system. And this restaurant was the third one to use that system back then (please refer to the old post on the Mengda BBS food board: Curry Champ (Taipei)).
