At Taipei’s Grand Hotel – Yuanshan Steakhouse: after finishing a meeting at the Taipei World Trade Center in the evening, I first stopped by Daan District and sat in the VIP room of a bar run by Zixuan’s friend, then the two of us headed straight to Shilin/Tianmu to meet Samuel. It was the third 酩熊會 gathering within a week, and we finally got everyone together—Samuel had several online meetings with the US afterward, so we could only catch up for 20 minutes; then Zixuan and I came to Yuanshan for dinner. We both ordered the Snake River Farms American Wagyu boneless short rib (8oz) and Japanese-style isoni-simmered abalone with red wine–honey pear, plus two glasses of red wine each with the meal—cheers, and thanks to Zixuan for treating!
