Taipei, 15F OOPS Space at Ruxi Hotel — 'Those Years I Almost Couldn't Hold On' talk: in the evening I went to a really interesting event and heard Andy from OOPS, Ding Hao from Lao Tian E Entertainment (who once created Cartino Crazy News), and Brian from S2O Taiwan share the tough situations they each faced while starting their businesses. I also ran into the founder of Accupass and Beichen, whom I hadn't seen in a while—thanks for the invite, Andy! Afterward I walked over to the nearby Orange Blossom shop (in partnership with Ming Yang Wine) for a drink with store manager Aaron; it happened to be their anniversary celebration, so I picked up some wine to take home too.
