Place: Taipei, Swensen's Western Restaurant
Travel note snippet: One noon, invited by good friend X, I came to this Swensen's branch in Tianmu to have a meal with two lovely ladies: unachen and ping. Swensen's seems to have existed for a long time in my memory; it's probably a childhood memory for many people too. Inside, it mainly serves American-style food (burgers, fried chicken, pasta) along with tempting ice cream, which has kept it standing strong for over twenty years, accompanying many through the years. The cost per person is similar to T.G.I. Fridays, around 400 NTD to get full.
